Rainwater, Holt & Sexton to Represent the Family of a Man Whose Memory Will Be Honored this Weekend

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton will be representing the family of Roy “Heavy Metal” Lee Hoyle Jr., who was killed in an auto accident Oct. 31, 2007. Hoyle, a five-year member of Boozefighters Motorcycle Club Chapter 66, was committed to helping the Southern Christian Home, an orphanage in Morrilton, Ark, that cares for school-age children through high school and offers children food, shelter and love. Along with fellow members of the motorcycle club, Hoyle went out of his way to assist the children who lived at the orphanage, and he was actually speaking with someone about an upcoming event to raise funds for the children when he was in his accident.

“I know it’s hard to get into the Christmas Spirit when you see all the hardship around the world, but this is a chance to do something for deserving children, right here at home,” said Danny Kerr (Kerr Dog), National Representative Arkansas Boozefighters MC.  “With our service men and women in harm’s way half way around the world, it’s really good to know that we can capture the spirit of Santa Claus for some children who might otherwise be left behind.”

The members of Boozefighters Chapter 66 along with the Southern Christian Home will be dedicating this weekend’s charity event in Hoyle’s memory. A date of Nov. 16, 2007, has been set for all toys, gift cards, necessities, money, and food to be collected. All of the collected items will be presented to the home this Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.

Rich “Curley” Riley, Boozefighters MC Member Chapter 66, stated, “As we began our 2007 campaign, we had no idea it could ever become as big as it already has. When we met our initial goals, we did not stop. We discovered additional needs and then raised the bar even higher. In return, we don’t need any type of special recognition. A smile from the children as we are riding off on our bikes will be enough for us.”
