Josh Standerfer is a lifelong Arkansan. During his senior year at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he decided to go to law school. After graduating with two degrees, one in political science and the other in history, Josh enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law.

Like many attorneys, Josh enjoyed the drama of the courtroom and thought being an attorney would be an interesting career choice. After having multiple part-time jobs throughout college serving people, Josh knew that a career in law was best for him. After law school, Josh served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and as a Senior Deputy Attorney General, prosecuting crimes on behalf of the State of Arkansas. Josh also worked in criminal defense. He has tried over fifty jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.

Josh was drawn to work at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton because of the reputation the firm has cultivated over the years.Josh joined Rainwater, Holt & Sexton in August of 2015 and currently works in the Fayetteville office. He is licensed to work in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. Josh is proud to work at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton because of the client-first approach. He focuses his practice on personal injury, motor vehicle collisions, and premises liability. Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is the largest personal injury firm in the state and it allows a team approach to all of its clients. Josh and other attorneys routinely meet to discuss cases and strategize with each other.

Josh lives in Bentonville and is a member of the local rotary. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as golfing and traveling. As a lifelong Arkansan, he is also an avid fan of the Razorbacks.
