Kolton Jones

Arkansas Injury Attorney

Kolton Jones grew up in the northeast Texas town of Sulphur Springs. He first moved to Arkansas to attend Henderson State University in Arkadelphia and law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. While in law school, Kolton served on the editorial board of the law review and received multiple top paper awards. He also worked as an extern for United States District Court Judge Kristine Baker and a law clerk for three law firms and the office of the Arkansas Attorney General. Kolton graduated magna cum laude.

Kolton began his career as an attorney with the law firm of Wagoner, Mann, & Kemp before working as an Appellate Review Attorney for the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He now works at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton as a Personal Injury and County Defense attorney.

“Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is client-focused like a small law firm, but our large number of highly-experienced attorneys gives our clients the key advantage of a large firm,” said Kolton. According to Kolton, the firm’s team atmosphere allows a unique approach to solving clients’ issues. “Our clients have access to a team of attorneys and case managers, and when a unique or challenging issue comes up, you can bet someone from the firm has seen it before and knows how to solve it. Our team approach gives our clients the peace of mind that we are representing their best interest and actively working toward the best possible outcome for their case.”

Kolton developed a passion for County Defense because of his family’s roots in county-level law enforcement. His late grandfather, Clarence, was the Sheriff of Dallas County, Texas in the 1970s. “I have always admired the life my grandfather lived and the work he performed as a police officer and sheriff,” he said. “For that reason, I feel a very personal connection to my work in County Defense.”
