Shawn Rowland

Social Security Disability Attorney

Shawn Rowland grew up in Memphis, TN, and his roots run deep in the Arkansas and Mississippi Deltas. Both of his parents grew up in farming families, and the majority of his childhood was spent hunting and fishing the river bottoms along the Mississippi River. There, he developed a deep love for the Delta and its people. Shawn’s family believes that life only asks one thing of every person and that is to be of service. This creed is what led Shawn to the law because he thought it would be the best place to use his talents to serve.

Working at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton allows Shawn to work in Social Security Disability. This area of law allows Shawn to meet people at some of the most vulnerable and anxious times of their lives, and if he can help shield them from those vulnerabilities and assuage those fears, then he feels that he is living up to his family’s creed of service. He also gets to serve the people in the Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi Delta whom he has felt closest too and loved the most in his life. Shawn knows that every client is different and every case is different, and he treats each client as an individual.

While every case is different, one thing is always the same—each client deserves the highest levels of respect and consideration. That is what sets Shawn apart from other lawyers and furthermore sets Rainwater, Holt & Sexton apart. At this firm, all clients are treated as individuals worthy of the highest levels of service and respect. That is what Shawn strives to provide.

Outside of the office, he works hard to be the best husband and father to his wife and three children. If he’s not at the office, he’s hunting and fishing those same Delta river bottoms that he hunted as a child. He looks forward to the day when he gets to pass that love of the land and its people to his children.

When illness has left you vulnerable and in need of shelter, let Shawn Rowland and Rainwater, Holt & Sexton help you weather the storm.
