Thom Diaz

Arkansas Injury Attorney

Thom Diaz grew up in New Hampshire and Missouri before he went to law school at Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

After graduating law school, Thom served in the U.S. Navy as a JAG trial attorney in Norfolk, Virginia. When Thom got out of the Navy, he decided to settle down in Little Rock where he found work as a trial lawyer at insurance defense litigation firms. One reason Thom joined Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, P.A. is that he wanted to use the knowledge and litigation skills he gained defending personal injury cases to help injured Arkansans prosecute their personal injury cases.

Thom saw first-hand as an insurance defense attorney how the insurance company has the upper hand in dealing with personal injury cases. With Thom’s background and experience, he is able to “level the playing field” and he especially enjoys the one on one contact with clients. Thom said, “I’ve found that just by talking to a client about their case in plain terms and telling them what they can expect to happen, it almost always reduces their stress and anxiety.” He believes the attorneys and staff are truly dedicated to helping injured Arkansans “weather the storm”.

Thom also works in Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, P.A’s. Defense Practice Group where he represents Arkansas counties, their officials and employees in civil rights, employment and general civil litigation.
