Lisa’s Closet is a nonprofit organization founded in loving memory of Lisa Barber, a compassionate woman devoted to giving back. After her passing in 2020, her husband, Sean Barber, and their son, Braxton Barber, created the charity to honor her legacy. Lisa’s Closet provides essential items to school-aged children, including brand-new shoes, clothing, and books that promote kindness. With a vision to expand across Arkansas, the organization is dedicated to ensuring that more children have the resources they need to thrive.
Stephens Elementary, serving students from ages 3 to 5th grade, is dedicated to technology and computer literacy. To help improve standardized test scores, the school is working to implement the IXL learning program, which provides personalized education for each student. Thanks to our Vending Machine Charity donation, Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is helping fund educators to facilitate this program.
The Van’s mission is simply to locate and love our unsheltered neighbors, wherever they may be. They visit current homeless camps, search for new camps, comb alleyways, check under bridges, and seek out people deep in the woods, etc. We take supplies such as food, water, clothing, and hygiene products to people where they are. Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is honored to present them with this month’s vending machine charity donation.
The Arkansas Foodbank is the foundation in the fight against hunger. They find pathways to connect people, resources and food to reach those in need, providing dignity, hope and a brighter future for all Arkansans. Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is honored to present them with this month’s vending machine charity donation.
