American Legion Auxiliary Unit 74

The American Legion Auxiliary is one of the largest veteran support organizations and its mission is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. They advocate for veterans, educate citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace, and security. They also celebrate World Poppy Day by wearing red poppies to honor the fallen and support the living who have worn our nation’s uniform. Because of their efforts, Rainwater, Holt & Sexton present them with the Saluting Heroes award and donation.
