VA Hospital

The VA is known for treating its veterans during and after their service even during a pandemic. During these times, a special COVID ICU team was created to treat the patients that have contracted the virus. These nurses sacrifice so much to treat their patients, even if that means not seeing their own family. One of those VA nurses, APN Melissa Allison, made that difficult decision to step up to the front line to serve those who have served us. Thank you to the staff at the VA for your diligent work as we present this month’s Saluting Heroes Award to you.
