AR Kids Read

This Spirit of Arkansas winner, AR Kids Read, is focused on helping the next generation of Arkansans. Founded in 2012, AR Kids Read has put an emphasis on helping the nearly 47 percent of Central Arkansas children reading below grade level. With the help of over 400 volunteers, AR Kids read is helping make a difference through reading in 45 Pulaski County Schools.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
