Arkansas Foodbank

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit many people lost their jobs and their ability to provide food for themselves or their families. And since the Arkansas Foodbank has been providing food for Arkansans for years, they have been able to step up their ability to provide for those who need the help the most. Even with changes in the hours of operation with their partnered pantries, the Foodbank has been able to adapt to transitions. Through a significant increase in the amount of food they have been able to provide, drive through food donation centers, and even the option to receive operating information of pantries by text, they have been able to perform to the needs of the communities. We were delighted to award them with the Spirit of Arkansas Award for the work they have done feeding Arkansans during this difficult time. In addition to the normal $1,000 donation we were also delighted to provide them with breakfast from Cinnamon and Crème Bakery.
