Goodwill Industries of Arkansas

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is one of the more recognizable Spirit of Arkansas winners. Many people know they can donate gently used items to Goodwill for them to be sold at a discount. What most people don’t realize is that Goodwill also works to help people enter the workforce. Just last year Goodwill helped 4,700 Arkansans find jobs. They work with people with disabilities, criminal backgrounds, single moms, and anyone else who needs help; that’s why Goodwill is this month’s Spirit of Arkansas winner.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
