O.K. Kids

O.K. (Our Kids) Program is a free national mentoring program that offers positive guidance and support to African American males ages 12 to 18 years old. Sgt. Willie Davis and Officer Carl Turner of the LRPD leads the Little Rock based program. The program brings together African American police officers and pastors to recruit, train, organize, and mentor young African American men. Central Arkansas currently offers this program in the following schools: Central High School, Hall High School, Dunbar Gifted & Talented Magnet Middle School, Forest Heights STEM Academy, and Henderson Middle School. Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is pleased to honor the work of O.K. Kids as this month’s Spirit of Arkansas Award.
