The Lymphomaniac Society

Many Spirit of Arkansas winners create their organization after going through a difficult experience. Elizabeth Fortune, Griffin Coop and the Lymphomaniac Society are no different. During Elizabeth’s battle with cancer, they realized a little time away with rest and relaxation can do wonders for recovery.  After the trip, they created the Lymphomaniac Society as a charitable organization dedicated to giving cancer patients and their caregivers the same opportunity to getaway. Going above and beyond to give others in need the recreational time they deserve is why the Lymphomaniac Society is this month’s Spirit of Arkansas winner.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
