Ozark Mission Project

For the past 30 years,  Ozark Mission Project has exemplified the Spirit of Arkansas by gathering the state’s youth to perform a mission. Throughout the summer these youth build, paint, do yard work, and build relationships with those in need. One of the biggest services provided is building wheelchair ramps, allowing some people to leave their home for the first time on their own. Instilling the values of hard work and service to those in need in the many generations of youth that come through the Ozark Mission Project is why they are this week’s Spirit of Arkansas winner.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
