A-Camp

A-Camp displays the Spirit of Arkansas all summer through their work with autistic kids. Located at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock, A-Camp is a 6-week day camp that serves elementary school children with autism spectrum disorders. The camp works to provide children with experiences that will help them beyond their time at the camp. The camp serves as a great way for parents and children alike to experience new things and understand the abilities of each child. The work A-Camp is providing for those with autism in Arkansas is why they are a great pick for this month’s Spirit of Arkansas Award.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
