Lauren Manatt
Arkansas Injury Attorney
Lauren was born and raised in Sheridan, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree and law school before returning to central Arkansas to be with her husband, Craig. Craig and Lauren now live with their kids in the Sheridan area and are actively involved in their community and church.
Lauren was taught the value of hard work and determination at an early age. Lauren said, “I loved sports. My participation in team sports taught me the value of discipline and accountability. If I missed a shot, the team missed a shot. That is true in life. My actions impact others so I better work hard to make sure my actions are helpful to achieve the overall goal. I see my clients, fellow RHS attorneys, and paralegals all as a team and I refuse to be the one not pulling my weight. This makes me effective.”
She loves being an attorney because of the people. “I truly enjoy getting to know my clients, learning about their life, their family, and their story. Arkansas is full of good, interesting people with amazing stories—you just have to take the time to stop and listen. It is vital as an attorney to be a good listener,” Lauren said.
Lauren believes in the fundamental principle of accountability. It is frustrating to see someone not be held accountable for their action, especially when it causes harm to someone else, she explained. Even if it’s a simple mistake, the law instills consequences for a reason. Consequences are necessary in order to change behavior. If we are never held accountable, we will keep making the same mistake again and again. She believes this is dangerous for our community and wants to make her community as safe as possible.
Lauren fights for her clients with compassion, determination and integrity. She uses her skills and expertise to get the results clients deserve and she does that while treating everyone with respect and dignity.
