Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas

After serving for 100 years, the Central Arkansas Boys and Girls Club is an easy selection for this month’s Spirit of Arkansas Award. The club serves as a place for students to spend their free time when they are not in school. It gives an outlet for athletic competition, promotes education, and provides guidance for overall good character and leadership. Over 10,000 kids come in contact with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas every year. When any organization comes in contact with that many kids it’s easy to know they are making a positive difference in the community. We were happy to present the Central Arkansas Boys and Girls Club a $1,000 check for being this month’s Spirit of Arkansas Award winner.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
